Steel tape measure is a widely used measuring tool in industrial production. The main purpose is to make the measurement accuracy of conventional steel tape measure higher and more practical. It is mainly composed of steel ruler, auxiliary ruler, ruler end positioning iron, rear positioning iron, ruler box, and ruler spring wheel. When measuring the workpiece, the positioning iron can be used for positioning. Use the sub ruler to read the value below millimeters. The tip of the positioning iron can also be used to mark the measured part. The ruler is compact in structure, small in size, easy to manufacture, and portable. It is a practical measuring tool in industrial production.
The steel tape can be rolled up because the tape is equipped with a spring ruler. When the steel tape is not in use, the ruler is rolled in the shell due to the contraction force of the spring. When we use a steel tape measure, we pull the ruler outward, the ruler is pulled out to an appropriate length, and then we start to measure. Once the measurement is completed, the spring inside the tape measure will automatically contract, and the ruler will also shrink under the action of the spring force, and then the ruler will be obediently rolled into the ruler shell.
